Thank God He Didn't Become A Congressman

Fight Club
Classic.

Pacquiao.

Pare.

Human fighting machine.

In the classic words of the Alaska PBA import Cisco Oliver to the blond haired Alaska boy Michael Uytengsu in the 1977 milk ad : "Galeeeng mo man!"

Wala pa ring tatalo sa Pacquiao. .. .

Question crosses mind . . .

Manny Paccquio is the great human champion of will and spirit - BECAUSE he is a Filipino? (Or DESPITE his being a Filipino?)
Thank God he did not become a congressman.

Very cool set up at the club today. The whole main lounge converted to a fight club, air filled with testosterone and the lovely smell of tinapang bangus, longganisa, congee, and garlic rice from the breakfast buffets in the flank rooms.
The singing of the national anthems of Mexico, RP, and US - All 10,000 or so (so I exaggerate) members, kids, waiters, yayas, guards, sotas, janitors . .. singing Lupang Hinirang with hand to breast and, moistening of the eyelid. "Nang mamatay nang dahil sa iyo!"

Thank goodness they didn't have Ara Mina sing it.

I decided to stand as well dring the singing of the Star Spangled Banner, just in case there were US Embassy people present - and then my friend Duane decide to do the same but asked Sam the waiter to take our picture - could be of good use in the future. Good thinking bro.

Pat and the whole MPC crew that put this together. Well done. Namaste!

Next from the cogons? Thursday, Oct. 12 East Terrace 6pm - DJ Boyet Almazan and . . . Oktoberfest??? Cripes!
Only in the club.
